Hi,
We should buy to our son (4 years old) the permanent hearing instrument. The audiologist has recommended us 2 types: Phonak extra 311 and Siemens Music Pro (BTE).
Do you have any experience (good or bad) with any of this instruments? Which company provides the better and more reliable service?
What are the criteria that we should choose the instrument?

I have worn Siemens hearing aids before the ones (HearSource) that I wear now.  Was never really satisfied with their performance or maybe it was the audiologist but anyway, don't wear them anymore. 

I think that in the 5 years I did wear them the speaker was replaced at leat three times and the microphone at least twice.  Good luck.

Phonak are a good choice... I have had a pair for 6 years now... no complaints.
